I do 25 magic, because it lets me carry 5 of the Ki recharge seals, 5 of the armor seals and 2-3 random debuff seals. 5%~10% of a boss’s health is like 2 strong attacks from a katana, its not worth worrying over it Otherwise if you find yourself starved of damage look to soul cores, talisman and other sources instead of worrying over stat allocation. The only stats that actually translates very well to damage are magic and dex when usinng onmyo and ninjutsu- weapons are pretty lenient with whateverĪs advice id say go for utility stats, or magic/ninjutsu if you plan to use those. If you dont care for min maxing, going for stuff like courage, heart, constitution is decent to allow you wiggle room to try out combos and what not without instantly dieing every 2s or running out of ki on your first combo stringĪnd contrary to popular belief it wont gimp your damage. Especially early game, and late game you have access to perks that modify weapon scaling anyway to “fix” even that marginal loss Most of it comes simply from the weapon’s level. the difference between something like 150 points and 50 points on a stat translates to like between 5 and 10% more damage on a weapon. Honestly weapon scaling over stats is so minimal. The damage boost from a weapon's corresponding stat is pretty small, treat stat points as your qol improvement rather than damage scaling, as it improves your character profile more than just boosting a small damage increase.
